Amy Protexter, SVP of Marketing, also named to CRN’s Power 30 Solution Providers list

TEMPE, Ariz., May 15, 2018 – Insight Enterprises (NASDAQ: NSIT), the global provider of Insight Intelligent Technology Solutions™ for organizations of all sizes, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named five key leaders to its prestigious 2018 Women of the Channel list.

Named as 2018 Women of the Channel are Megan Amdahl, senior vice president, operations; Brenda Hudson, vice president, inside sales and sales enablement, learning and development; Bozena Kostelic, director of product management; Amy Protexter, senior vice president, North America marketing; and Jennifer Vasin, vice president, human resources.

Protexter also was named to CRN’s list of 2018 Power 30 Solution Providers, an elite subset of the Women of the Channel List.

CRN’s editorial team selects Women of the Channel honorees based on their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the channel, representing vendors, distributors, solution providers and other organizations that figure prominently in the channel ecosystem. Each is recognized for her outstanding leadership, vision and unique role in driving channel growth and innovation.

The Power 30 Solution Providers belong to an exclusive group drawn from this larger list: women leaders in solution provider organizations whose vision and influence are key drivers of their companies’ success and help move the entire IT channel forward.

“We rely on dedicated leaders who take the time to understand the needs of our clients and help them make intelligent technology decisions. Amy, Bozena, Brenda, Jen and Megan lead by example. The hunger, heart and harmony their teams routinely display are reflected in their abilities to turn IT challenges into real business outcomes for our clients,” said Ken Lamneck, Insight president and CEO.

Protexter, who joined Insight in 2014 as vice president of marketing, currently guides a marketing/e-commerce program of more than 100 employees and is responsible for Insight’s evolving global brand. In the past year she oversaw marketing revenue growth of 48 percent year over year and an 87 percent increase in unique visits to insight.com.

Amdahl oversees global logistics, supply chain, business transformation and profitable growth. She leads Insight’s dynamic web pricing program, driving significant web revenue and gross profit growth for the company and its partners.

Hudson leads Insight’s inside sales, including small and medium businesses, corporate and healthcare. She has spearheaded the company’s new recruiting process, sales enablement, and the re-engineering of Insight’s go-to-market strategy.

Kostelic, an 18-year veteran with Insight, directs a team in product marketing that executes strategic partnerships in end-user computing and infrastructure, with specific focus on supply chain optimization, connected workforce and digital innovation. Her team consistently leads Insight in revenue and profit growth.

Vasin oversees Insight’s human resources in North America, representing more than 4,500 teammates. She leads Insight’s philanthropic endeavors, including the Reach program that connects children with technology, and instituted the In It Together Foundation, assisting teammates in times of crisis.

“This accomplished group of leaders is steadily guiding the IT channel into a prosperous new era of services-led business models and deep, strategic partnerships,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “CRN’s 2018 Women of the Channel list honors executives who are driving channel progress through a number of achievements—exemplary partner programs, innovative product development and marketing, effective team-building, visionary leadership and accelerated sales growth—as well as advocacy for the next generation of women channel executives.”
